    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, ensuring consistency in flavor, presentation, and temperature.

    • Engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, taking and accurately fulfilling their orders. Provide product recommendations and answer any questions about our coffee offerings.

    • Operate and maintain espresso machines, ensuring the proper extraction of coffee and mastery of various brewing techniques.

    • Keep the coffee preparation area clean, organized, and well-stocked. Adhere to sanitation and safety standards to create a hygienic environment for both customers and colleagues.

    • Stay informed about coffee varieties, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to educate customers and enhance their coffee experience.

    • Process customer transactions accurately, handling cash and electronic payments with precision.

    Qualifications:

  • Join our team as an Assistant Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of our health-focused smoothie shop.     Responsibilities:

    • Assist the general manager in overseeing daily operations, including smoothie preparation, customer service, inventory management, and adherence to health and safety standards.

    • Support the training of team members in health-conscious practices, customer engagement, and operational procedures. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

    • Ensure a consistently high level of customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Strive to exceed customer expectations in health-conscious offerings and service.

    • Motivates and directs team members to exceed customer expectations with fast and friendly service in clean surroundings.

    • Responsible for organizing, scheduling and supervising shifts of team members.

    • Assist in managing inventory levels, monitoring product freshness, and collaborating with suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality, health-focused ingredients.

    • Contribute to the financial success of the smoothie shop by assisting in budget management, cost control measures, and implementing strategies to enhance profitability.

    • Uphold quality standards in smoothie preparation, presentation, and overall customer experience. Conduct regular checks to ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines.

    • Participate in local events or initiatives that align with our health and wellness brand, fostering connections within the community and promoting our mission.

    • Proactively identify and address challenges, seeking solutions to enhance operational efficiency and the overall success of the smoothie shop.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.

    • High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred.

    • Strong leadership and communication skills.

    • Local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification, acquired at applicant’s own expense.

    • Must be able to frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds.

    • Passion for health and wellness, with knowledge of nutritional trends and health-conscious practices.

    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

    • Customer-centric mindset and commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

    • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages. Spanish proficiency at a conversational level (approximately 50%) is preferred.
